An Anomalous reading is a reading that didnt follow the same pattern as the others. This might have occurred because of a number of reasons.For example, We couldve made an error in taking measurements or we might not have filled up the gaps in the beaker enough etc. I think, that by carrying out a further experiment, we would extend our knowledge by ever-changing the experiment a little, by maybe changing a different variable or by having more tests.
